Volunteers

Volunteers are an essential part of the Ministry to Seafarers. Volunteers usually spend 2 weeks or more in Montreal helping out at the Montreal Seafarer's Centre in the evenings. We have an apartment available for the volunteers, as well as provide them with a pass to use public transportation in Montreal. Each evening, the volunteers assist by driving to the ships to pick up seafarers, helping seafarers with their telephone calls, serving them at our small store, and talking with them. Volunteers are encouraged to attend the evening prayers each night if they are able, as well as share their faith with seafarers.
