Due to a massive power outage in the city last month, we had to cancel our event for seafarers. It's been rescheduled to Thursday, April 26 from 6:30-9 PM.

This is a free event for seafarers. Wolfgang and Connie, two adorable dogs, will be on hand to delight and entertain you. Relax with a free chair massage, enjoy a smoothie or use the art supplies to express your creativity. Seafarers, you work hard and we want to express our thanks for all you do!

In 2018, Montreal expects to host more than 60 cruise ships between May and October.

Mariners' House welcomes 15,000 visitors each year, including many of the workers who staff these cruise ships. Working for 8-10 months at sea for 12 hours each day, our centre provides a welcome reprieve, offering physical, emotional and spiritual care. La Presse recently published a story on the cruise industry in Montreal and interviewed Carolyn Osborne, the MH General Manager. Read the full article here.
