7th Annual Seaway Bike Tour Fundraiser Surpasses Goal!

Six groups of cyclists rode distances of 12, 25, 50 and 100 km. One rider rode virtually in her community of Elmira, Ontario.

The 7th Annual Seaway Bike Tour Fundraiser was held on September 12. Thirty-five cyclists, including one virtual participant in Elmira, ON rode a combined 1400 km, raising over $28,000! We were able to take advantage of generous matching gifts totalling $8,000 to surpass our $25,000 goal.

This year we challenged riders to be like seafarers and carry “cargo” in the form of a hardboiled egg. Visit our Facebook page to see the photos of all the places their cargo ended up!
