We Love Our Volunteers and Visitors!

Some of the volunteers and visitors that came through our doors from June-September 2026: Montreal School of Theology students (from top, left); Andrea Dickinson, nephew Ryan and a seafarer; Dominique Perrier and friend, Alain; volunteers Sheila and Ophélie; Rev Pronk and his family; George Couperus; Montreal Mission Interns and leaders

Volunteers play an integral part in the work we do. Sheila Margerrison, Ophélie Legars-Toussignant and the Montreal Mission Internship students helped us with preparations for Day of the Seafarer celebrations.

We love visitors! Thanks to John & Hilda Van Gyssel; Rev Pronk & family; Bevin Lewis plus family and friends; Dominique Perrier from the Port of Bayonne, France and friend, Alain; Andrea Dickinson and nephew Ryan; Rob & Cindy Kerr; George Couperus; and the students from the Montreal School of Theology for paying us a visit and being interested in our work.

Rev Pronk is a former seafarer and said, “Seafarers’ Centres provided a place of relief from the routine of ship life.” We hope that never changes!
